If you missed our announcement early Summer, we bought the house that we have been renting for the past few years! We love our neighborhood so much, and watching it come to life with fall colors just felt different this year. It’s also no secret around here that I’m pretty obsessed with my dog, so when I felt an inkling to take some film shots around the neighborhood, my well trained pup posed for me. I even convinced my husband to stand in for a few!

That one time I designed for Hearth and Hand with Magnolia
When you walk through Target or TJ Maxx and pick up some journals or stationery, have you ever thought of the actions it took to get there? Right after we moved to Nashville I accepted a freelance position to design for a stationery company who stocked those very shelves I used to camp out in front of. It was honestly some of the most fun 6 months of my life, but eventually I started to get discouraged that none of my hard work had ever been picked up for print.
Out of the Office | We're going on vacation!
Today's is a short and sweet blog to let you know that I'll be out of the office for the next two weeks. This week my husband and I are setting sail on a cruise to the Bahamas, and the next week we're moving!
If you reach out to me over these next two weeks, know that I'll be without internet until the beginning of February. I'll be in touch as soon as we're back on land and settled into our new house.
