Boram + Andrew | The McConnell House Wedding

Boram + Andrew Wedding 1.jpg

Boram and Andrew’s January wedding is unmatched in tradition and style. The tone of the day was set the moment I walked into their sweet Airbnb bridal suite and saw Boram’s etherial and flowy wedding dress. I understand how dramatic this will sound but hand to the sky it’s true; I’ve had dreams about similar slip dresses. Sweet lace and beaded detail on a delicate layer of chiffon, hung over a form fitting silk slip dress. What I wouldn’t give to get a change to re-pick my own wedding dress! These bridal details matched Boram’s sweet disposition—this girl was present for every important moment and appropriately laid back about the whole day! Even though rain stayed in the forecast, the nuptials weren’t dampened in the slightest.

I’m so grateful for Boram and Andrew to invite me into their wedding and allow me to play family historian. During our first consultation, Boram was quick to tell me about her favorite wedding photo of her parents leaving the church immediately after the ceremony, beaming with joy at the vow they had just shared. You can understand then when after their ceremony, I watched their own family story unfold through my viewfinder. The joy on their faces in that image says it all.

After the ceremony, the couple hosted their guests at the historic McConnell House. Toasts were raised, the cake was saber-cut, and the Rolls Royce send-off was grand. Enjoy a snippet of Boram and Andrew’s day.
