I grew up in the south and was raised with some God-fearing southern women in my family. When I met Catherine, she instantly reminded me of the type; classy, sweet, incredibly thoughtful, and so fun-loving. It’s been an absolute joy to get to know her better! Even on the wedding day when little snags in the timeline are inevitable, Catherine would keep her cool and ground herself to let it all roll with a deep breath and get back to enjoying the day. It was a perfect day, after all.

I love to share about the wedding day in these posts and point out my favorite part of the day. Honestly, this was one of my most anticipated weddings of 2019! From meeting Catherine and having worked with her wedding planner and venue both several times, I knew this would feel like an all-star wedding. I had very high expectations on this being a wedding unlike any other, and it lived up to the hype! The whole day, filled to the brim with beautiful details and moments alike.

We all learned a little more about Kolby during the maid of honor speech, where Catherine’s sister shared all about Kolby’s first impression to them, complete with a not-at-all embarrassing wardrobe snafu on the first date which gave me the photo I’m deeming “the absolute cutest reaction during a wedding speech.”
