Memorial day weekend, 2017, the weather was warm but beautiful, and the vibe was soaring from the start. My husband and I met Alex during college but I didn’t have the honor of getting to know Haley until recently, when we moved to Nashville. The warmth and positivity I’ve found in Haley is so charming and magnetic; you just want to spend all of your time with her!

You may recognize Haley from her sister Kendall’s wedding. When I get invited back to photograph a friend or family members wedding, I view it as the greatest compliment! Walking into the wedding day, I already knew that Kendall and Haley’s family was amazing and it truly felt like a dream to spend the day with them and my second shooter (that’s right, I got my husband to come out with me to this wedding!")

Haley’s family is highly creative, so as you scroll you’ll see beautiful hand crafted details that really tied the whole day up nicely. The dip-dyed tassels are actually still in use today, hanging over Alex and Haley’s living room couch! The ceremony was sweet and emotional; just look at Alex holding it together during his vows. Portrait time was all giggles, like Haley and Alex had just won the lottery. The reception was swinging, with live music, a delicious meal, and cookie ice cream sandwiches. Genuinely, one of my favorite days ever, and I’m so grateful for the friendship that has grown from it. Congratulations Haley and Alex!
